Code of Ethics

Too bad this isn't the norm....

Hazel Green High School
Code of Ethics

We, the undersigned students of the Hazel Green High School in order to have a more perfect school establish principles of honesty, industry, courtesy, cleanliness, and sportsmanship and to promote the general welfare of our school and community; do hereby ordain and establish this Code of Ethics.

Honesty
I will be honest in all my dealings with my fellow students
“An honest man is the noblest work of God.”

Industry
I will be a diligent worker.
“Dost though love life? Then do not squander time for that’s the stuff life is made of”

Courtesy
I will be courteous at all times.
“Life is not too short for courtesy”

Cleanliness
I will endeavor to do all that I can to make my school building comfortable, neat and attractive.
“Cleanliness is next to Godliness”

Sportsmanship
I will be a better loser than a winner.
“It’s not whether you win or lose but how you play the game.”

I will do all I can for the sake of humanity and the honor of my school.
“To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.”
