So we made through the first day of school. Survived a very late and very grouchy bus driver. Survived the first day of a new school. The basic sentiment was that this was a good day. We haven't yet reached the "I hate school", "My teacher is so mean!", "I don't want to go to school and you can't make me" days.

We are in countdown mode.

I am in my beginning of the year organization mode. Unfortunately, I've never managed to get far but I might as well say it again - this year will be different.
